Katie Couric is marking the 25th anniversary of her televised colonoscopy on NBC’s Today by returning to the exam table for a new public service announcement aimed at breaking the stigma around colon cancer screenings.

The veteran journalist and cancer awareness advocate teamed up with the Colorectal Cancer Alliance and Ryan Reynolds’ production company, Maximum Effort, to launch the latest installment of the LEAD FROM BEHIND campaign.
